Ringtons Tea: 3rd Side

I have started the third side of the Ringtons Tea box. I wanted to use this side to promote the other flavours as this is likely to increase the chances of customers buying more than one tea. The concept behind the design anyway is about promoting the different feelings from the tea i.e Refreshed with Peppermint. As people have more than one mood it gives a good opportunity to promote other teas with different associated feelings.

Using the tea pot silhouettes as a symbol for each flavour works well as it keeps the continuity between the different package designs. However having them all in dark blue doesn't make them stand out, the type and style is the same for each flavour when there actually needs to be differences.

Reintroducing the colours brings the teapots to life, the background will have to be the darker blue as the colours crash against the peppermint green.

Changing the type to match unites the teapot with its information, each flavour is now clearly different.

A quick mock up of what the box currently would look like. The blue is too dark in relation to the other sides of the packaging so perhaps it would be better for it to follow suit and match the front with a vertical stripe down the middle instead. This extra peppermint green at the sides will frame the panel more and unify it with the other sides of the box.
